Nothing like being abroad. Baking hot. And you find a bar and get a bottle of Coke. Loads of ice. I do go lemon though.

Actually soda and lime with plenty of ice is probably the most refreshing.
I remember being on the beach all day in Eilat one year, probably had 2 or 3 beers over the whole day, went to walk to the hotel and had to be helped, like I'd gone to jelly. Sat down in the lounge and the barman just came over with soda and lime on a tray with a bowl of ice, said he'd seen me walk back form the beach and guessed I was dehydrated.
Within less than a minute I was completely recovered

When I was in hospital withdrawing from booze (and they didn't let me drink ANYTHING in case I needed an operation) all I craved was cheap diet lemonade from Co-op with loads of ice.
Now it's Ribena, a splash of lime cordial, ice and fizzy water.

Mexican Lime and Elderflower Crush from Lidl. I have a large stock in my garage. Sugar free too. Ive tried all the Lilts, 7 up and Sprite stuff and this is the best.

Has to be Dom Pérignon or Verve Clicquot though. None of that cheap, imitation rubbish.
Are they the only brands you know? I bet you like a fillet steak and chateau neuf de pape too.
I’d probably plump for a Krug or a Salon Le Mesnil if I was feeling good. I’ll leave the supermarket Dom’s and Verve’s for people that want to pretend they live a luxury lifestyle like what you see on love island.
